Paul I was reading your post and reached out to a lender. Here's what he said.
Hello Juanita,
Credit score is not a factor for our lender. However, the lender will require at least 20% down payment.I also have an alternative lending option which will not require any down payment as long as the property has plenty of equity (Over 40%).
