We have just closed an $880,000 loan on a 16,835 square foot industrial/retail building known as Sleep Shopper Store, located on Northern Freeway in Houston, Texas.  Although this loan is below our typical loan minimum of $1M, we saw an opportunity to help a borrower with very limited financing options.  An owner occupied, single tenant building with loan proceeds going towards an unrelated project kept most lenders at bay. We were able to look past the negatives and focused on the positives such as the borrower having been in business for over 30 years.
