Kindly review below CBIL Funding Steps and Procedure

 

1. Project documents review, evaluation and due diligence
2. Issuance of Letter of Intent (LOI) & Letter of Acceptance (LOA)
3. A project Funding Agreement (PFA) will be drafted and signed by both parties.
4. After signing the Project Funding Agreement (PFA), as part of the compliance procedure, you will be required to set up a wallet account with CBIL recommended wallet platform.
5. You will be required to complete the AML compliance and KYC verification through the above wallet platform.
6. As part of compliance, you will be required to deposit to your wallet account a percentage of the total funding amount in USDT stable coin as a balance in your own WALLET ACCOUNT for compliance and the deposit is withdrawable in full amount and you will have 100% control of your wallet. The amount to be deposited will be dependent on your transaction size.
7. You shall submit a confirmation document and proof of account balance which you will obtain from the wallet platform to enable CBIL submit for transaction Registration & Compliance authentication with CBIL authority
8. Within 48 hours of receiving the above compliance proof,CBIL will either transfer the funding amount through bank to bank wire transfer (MT103) to your designated bank account or will credit the funding amount in form of a stable coin USDT to your wallet account. Whichever funding method suits you we will implement and this will be in accordance with the funding method agreed in the signed Project Funding Agreement (PFA).
9. If the funding was initiated through bank to bank wire transfer, you will be required to confirm within 3 - 5 working days but if it was done through the wallet, you will be required to confirm within 24 hours. After the credit has been initiated and confirmed by you in your wallet,  you will be able to click on withdraw in the wallet platform to withdraw funds to your local bank account.

 

Please take note that CBIL funding method is through bank to bank wire transfer, Due to compliance requirements, setting up the wallet is a mandatory process to facilitate compliance for compliance formalities as specified by CBIL regulatory authority to satisfy compliance purposes. CBIL does not use their bank for compliance processing due to prolonged delays and additional or higher compliance deposit requirements so therefore, the wallet platform serves as CBIL processor for easy and speed processes. You must complete CBIL compliance through the wallet set up to fulfil AML, KYC and the required compliance deposit to enable CBIL to have the proof for submission to CBIL authority for the transaction registration and compliance. If this can be achieved, CBIL will have NO problem to fund you from their bank account directly to your bank account through wire transfer funding method.
