Alan’s experience in real estate investing began in 2001 with the creation of Powys Enterprises LLC (a Kansas based company) Powys Enterprises LLC is a Kansas based enterprise, located at 8129 Bell Road, Lenexa, KS. We are legally structured as a Kansas Corporation with 50% of the common stock being owned by Alan Jones and the remaining 50% being owned by Ruth Jones, husband and wife. Powys Enterprises specializes in the purchase and rehab of distressed residential properties in the Kansas City metro area. Our portfolio currently consists of over 16 properties worth over $1,500,000, consisting primarily of single family properties and one 11 unit apartment building.
In 2004 Alan formed Creative Realty Solutions LLC, (a Kansas based company) and with three partners opened an Irish Pub and Restaurant in Branson, Missouri. Waxy O’Sheas (Below) opened it’s doors in 2006 . Waxy’s is a full service Irish theme pub and restaurant with the interior fixtures and fittings all imported from Ireland for an authentic theme.
From the success of this first location we recently opened (July, 2009) a second location in Shawnee, Kansas.
Our future investment goals are to invest in cash flowing commercial properties and have them professionally managed. We are seeking debt and/or equity partners who are interested in investing in the income producing commercial ventures we are actively seeking.
