Are there any actual private lenders or debt/equity partners on this site?

Has anyone actually funded a project by reaching out to a funding source on this site? Or is this site like LinkedIn and full of scammers and so-called lenders who charge up-front fees or due diligence fees?

Please leave a comment. I'd like to get your thoughts on this post.

I don't know what you're looking for, but we've had correspondence, and you've either never gotten back or reached out.  You mention debt/equity partners, but you really should just mention you are looking for straight equity partners b/c all your deals seem to have no cash down component.  Granted, I am a broker, but regardless, I have sources for debt if that's what you're really looking for, and only work with lenders who are actually lending. 

  As far as private investors or someone who is going to partner with you, I think you need to sniff them out on a grassroots level, maybe local first and then through connections you know through sites like LinkedIn.  But on LinkedIn and other sites, including this one, I'd still be weary.  Private investors are out doing deals, at least the ones who are real, not hanging around on websites looking for some.

Thanks for your feedback Jared. I was asking in general before I start navigating and posting on this site. Yes, you're right, I'm looking for a funding partner who's willing to take on the debt or equity on an value-added acquisition that I would structure, get under contract, stabilize, and sell for maximum profit.

Unfortunately I don't think we'll ever get away from scammers and unethical "Lenders".  It is sad but borrowers need to be extra smart and check out the proven statistical production, testimonials, etc. of the Lender before they borrower money.
