A good percentage of you make less than $100k a year, much less. If you are ok with that, no problem. For me personally, making only $100k would be a very bad thing. I am not arrogant, just confident and 100% honest. I grew up very poor. I even lived in my car for a while in downtown Seattle when I was in my 20's. Obviously, I figured things out and at age 50 I do pretty well though not nearly good enough.
You all are on this site and many others. You are here for one reason which is to make money, as an Investor, a Realtor, a Mortgage Broker, or a Lender. You are one of those and they are all great. USE THIS SITE!!! Use Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and whatever other new social media sites that millions of people use. Post about your business, your success, things you do to help others both in business and personally. I hate Facebook and will never use it again but I did finally join Instagram last week. I was on there an hour ago and I saw this:
Ladies and gentlemen, THIS IS HOW YOU GET THE WORD OUT ABOUT YOU AND YOUR BUSINESS!!! THIS IS HOW YOU MARKET! When you close a loan, create one of these and post it literally everywhere on the internet including The Real Estate Finance Website. Do you know how many thousands of people on this website need your funding? C'mon, take advantage and make yourself some money. I get literally 3 to 10 people a day asking me or Lisa my Admin where to go for funding. Usually Lisa just does their loan. Wouldn't it be great if I saw your ad, remembered you like I do this little ad from FLATIRON CAPITAL, and did one of these for you? Do you realize how many people will call FLATIRON CAPITAL because of this post I am making right now and I don't even know anyone at that company (but I will very soon!)
This little ad took someone 5 minutes to create and someone like me with a big website sees it, posts this, and I bet at least 3 of you start using them for funding. Their ad is short, easy and perfect!!!
The Mortgage Broker, if one was involved, that brokered this loan just made a $140,000 commission. 2% of $7 Million. I have never made more than $80,000 on a loan myself and this awesome individual just made $140,000! He or she will get a call from me when I have a similar loan that I need to place.
Gentlemen, ladies, please market yourself. If you send my Admin a little image like this and have her send out an Email Blast, you will absolutely get business right here from this website just for sending it out.
I know I mess with many of you for not marketing but c'mon, you only get one life and I truly want every single person on this website to succeed. If you offer a service, market it hard. You deserve success!
