Cabrera, Dominican Republic

We recently funded a land loan in Cabrera, Dominican Republic, a well known beach community. The funds are being used to pay off existing debt and for entitlements/approvals for future development. Our borrower, a prominent US citizen with a very strong business resume still found it difficult to secure financing on land in the Dominican Republic.
