WITH A BA IN MEDICAL ADMINISTRATION, PROPERTY MANAGEMENT WAS NOT A CAREFULLY CHARTED OUT COURSE. JANACE EXPERIENCE IN PROPERTY MANAGEMENT CAME AS A RESULT OF SEEKING A PART TIME POSITION, WHICH WOULD AFFORD HER TIME TO PARTICIPATE IN HER RELIGIOUS VOLUNTEER WORK. SINCE, NO SUCH POSITIONS EXISTED AT THE TIME IN HER CHOSEN PROFESSION; SHE TOOK A POSITION WITH A ROMANIA REAL ESTATE DEVELOPER OVERSEEING HIS INCOME PROPERTIES. THERE SHE GAINED VALUABLE EXPERIENCES AND A WORKING KNOWLEDGE OF CALIFORNIA LANDLORD TENANT LAW. AS IN MOST CASES, ONE THING LED TO ANOTHER, SHE WAS SUBSEQUENTLY OFFERED A POSITION WITH OTHER MANAGEMENT COMPANIES, EACH TIME GAINING A WEALTH OF KNOWLEDGE OF THE INDUSTRY.


EVENTUALLY ONE OF HER FORMAL CLIENTS, MR. BUENAVENTURA SUBA, A REAL ESTATE BROKER, DECIDED TO PARTNER. THEY MADE A DECISION TO POOL 20 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE AS REAL ESTATE INVESTMENT OWNERS AND A DIVERSE SHARED KNOWLEDGE OF PROPERTY MANAGEMENT TO PROVIDE THE HIGHEST POSSIBLE LEVEL OF MANAGEMENT SERVICES TO OTHER INVESTMENT PROPERTY OWNERS. SO, IN 2006, JANACE S. RIVERA AND BUENAVENTURA SUBA, ALONG WITH TWO OTHER FRIENDS ESTABLISHED SUBA MANAGEMENT SOLUTIONS. THIS WAS A CHERISHED PERSONAL AND BUSINESS RELATIONSHIP UNTIL THE SUDDEN AND UNTIMELY DEATH OF MR. SUBA AT THE AGE OF 55 IN 2010.

UPON THE DEATH OF MR. SUBA, THE STAFF OF SUBA MANAGEMENT SOLUTIONS WAS FORCED TO REGROUP. SO, AS OPPOSED TO A “ONE SIZE FITS ALL” APPROACH TO PROPERTY MANAGEMENT, THEY CONTINUED TO OFFER A CLIENT CENTERED SERVICE. WITH RECOGNITION THAT THEIR CLIENTS AND TENANTS ARE THE MOST VALUABLE COMMODITY IN THIS BUSINESS, THEY TREATED THEM ACCORDINGLY. WITH THIS PHILOSOPHY, THEY HAVE CONTINUED TO GAIN RECOGNITION IN THE PROPERTY MANAGEMENT INDUSTRY AND ARE NOW MANAGING A MIXED PORTFOLIO OF SINGLE FAMILY HOMES, MULTIFAMILY HOMES AND CONDO UNITS OF CLOSE TO 400 UNITS. BY BEING ALERT TO CURRENT AND CHANGING TRENDS IN THE PROPERTY MANAGEMENT INDUSTRY AND CALIFORNIA LANDLORD TENANT LAW, THEIR GOAL IS TO CONTINUE EXPAND BY OFFERING HIGH QUALITY INDIVIDUALIZED SERVICE TO THEIR CLIENTS

IN 2011 THE US COMMERCE ASSOCIATION PRESENTED THE “BEST OF PASADENA 2011” AWARD TO SUBA MANAGEMENT SOLUTIONS. ALSO, SINCE THEIR INCEPTION IN 2006, SUBA MANAGEMENT SOLUTIONS HAS MAINTAINED AN “A+” GRADE WITH THE BBB. BEING KNOWN FOR EXCELLENCE HAS GIVEN SUBA MANAGEMENT NOT ONLY A STANDARD TO MAINTAIN, BUT ALSO IMPETUS TO CONTINUE TO PROGRESS IN THIS MULTIFACETED INDUSTRY.
